JOB DESCRIPTION

• Project Technician – I (No. of post-2) 
  
  • a) Good Knowledge of computer software, hardware, Internet/network and ICT equipments installation, maintenance & trouble shooting. Knowledge of office productivity, multimedia tools and video production equipment handling. Knowledge of Punjabi language.
• Project Technician - Technician II (No. of post-1) 
  
  • Experience in repair & maintenance in computers & peripherals.
• Project Asstt. – I (No. of Post-2) 
  
  • Good knowledge Audio/Video production techniques, hands on experience in latest audio- video editing software and hardware, compositing techniques and multimedia graphics designing .Knowledge of Punjabi language.
• Project Asstt. – I (No. of Post-1) 
  
  • Required faculty having good knowledge of Graphic Designing-Photoshop, corel draw, Illustrator,Web designing-Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS, 2D/3D Animation, Audio-video editing.
• Project Engineer - I (No. of Post -10) 
  
  • Good experience in managing and executing e-learning & web portal development projects. Knowledge of multimedia content editing, Audio Video editing software’s/Hardware, & latest web technologies (Expertise – Photoshop, CorelDraw, Flash, Dreamweaver, 3D & 2D animation, HTML, CSS, OSS CMS). Knowledge of Punjabi language. Strong technical background & written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good experience on Linux Server Administration and Maintenance of DNS, Squid, Mail server etc. Knowledge of Iptables, Firewall, IDS, IPS and UTM Administration is required. Knowledge on Virtualization concepts will be an added advantage.
  • Required faculty having knowledge of JAVA, PHP and Android Programming
  • Must have worked on Network security, firewall, IDS, IPS and UTM. Knowledge of Information Security policy development, Ethical hacking, Vulnerability assessment & Penetration testing is required. RHCP/ CCSP/ CEH/ ECSA certifications will be the added advantage.
  • Required faculty having knowledge of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite both (IPv4/IPv6), ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP), Bridging and switching concepts, LAN technologies such as Ethernet-CSMA/CD, WAN, MAN, VPN and network security technologies including Checkpoint, Cisco,STP - IEEE 802.1d/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s,VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad, IP addressing and sub-netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR. To have Working knowledge with routing protocols - RIP V1/V2, OSPF, BGP v4, VRRP, MPLS, RSVP, and LDP Practical Knowledge on configuration with Cisco IOS, routers, VPN concentrators, network switches, firewalls and UTM. CCNA/CCNP certified (Mandatory), Troubleshooting Linux and Windows.
  • Good knowledge Audio/Video production techniques, hands on experience in latest audio- video editing software and hardware, compositing techniques and multimedia graphics designing .Knowledge of Punjabi language.
  • Good knowledge of PHP, HTML 5, Jquery, and MySQL, Open Source CMS (Plone, Joomla, Drupal etc.) web development. Knowledge of Punjabi language and multi-lingual portal development. Good knowledge of graphics editing and video formats/tools. Knowledge of quality assurance and control of projects.
• Project Officer - I (No. of Post-1) 
  
  • a) Experience in training & placement activities of an educational research/Industrial establishment and should have pleasing personality & good of communication skill.
• Project Engineer - II (No. of Post-1)
  
  • a) Minimum three years’ experience on Grid/Cloud Computing with in-depth working experience on Virtualization softwares – Eucalyptus, VMware and KVM/XEN is required. Knowledge on Network Security and forensics will be an added advantage.
