| Job Function | The ALM/ServiceNow team is looking for a full-time Test Analyst for ALM (JIRA) and ServiceNow web based application testing. The Job involves end to end functional test execution of the JIRA and ServiceNow applications. The ALM/ServiceNow test functions include verifying functionality, application/system level feature testing, developing/executing test strategies and test plans, field log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems, optimizing system performance, and improving the stability of the product. | |
| Responsibilities | Candidates will be responsible for testing and verifying ALM and ServiceNow application functionality. Additional job duties include studying new application level features and working closely with the development, admin and support teams to come up with comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them. They will also be responsible for automating these test cases using the appropriate scripting languages Candidates with 1-4 years of work experience in web application testing. Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively, and document work thoroughly is a must. Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, and be able to work independently. Should have good manual testing experience along with exposure to automation. -Experience in writing automation scripts to test applications / websites. -Ability to use and improve in-house automation framework using scripting language (Perl/Python) for automated functional testing. -QTP, Load Runner, Selenium, JMeter, Perl, shell programming skills preferred. -Self-Starter who can jump in quickly without detailed directions. -Experience on projects using Agile/ Scrum methodology. -Should possess solid logic skills.. -Experience in defect/issue/bug tracking tools like JIRA. -Willing to work in a team. -Ability to be a quick-learner in a dynamic environment. -Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Software Engineering concepts. -Analyze and evaluate business logic and project requirements from the SRS. | |
